The Site:

The title for this site is based on the scriptures within the book of Ephesians:

Ephesians 1:3-6 NKJV

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Above all, this passage speaks to God’s sovereignty, His grace, and His glory!

Before the Foundations of the Earth, those of us who believe in Christ as Lord and Savior, were chosen, elected, predestined to do so. God knew who we would become. He knew what kind of disobedient, disgraceful, unloving, hurtful, hateful people we would be. That we would rebel against Him, His law and His gospel for so long, having no desire for Him or for righteousness. I too, would have my face hidden from Him, even now, had He not been so merciful and gracious to me, that He would pour out His Spirit upon me and call on me to believe in His Son for the washing away of sins, and to turn away from sin in repentance and cry out to Him boldly before His throne. Now, in my humility, I praise the name of Jesus for what He has done. His finished work on the cross has justified me and declared me holy and blameless. I am not holy. I am not blameless. But God has declared me as such because Christ paid the ransom for my sin. Our testimony and our witness as believers glorifies God, and His Son. His glory is the very purpose for which all of these things took place. And so we wait for the day that we are called home to be with Him, and enjoy Him forever!

I am merely a layman who serves at the discretion of the One who created me. By His grace, I have been given the privilege of serving Grace & Truth Church as Deacon in Hartsdale, NY,.. and have also been blessed with the ability to occasionally serve as teacher and worship leader to my brothers and sisters in Christ. I also help to lead a local evangelism team in and around the surrounding areas. My current profession finds me managing the office of a local appliance repair company, but I am now looking to pursue permanent employment in a job which is more geared towards the ministry of advancing the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; preferably through the field of Digital Content Management/Marketing. The Purpose:

There is nothing I desire; no goal nor objective I wish to attain other than the glorification of God.

How that is accomplished is by spreading the gospel, preaching the word, living in holiness, studying the word, committing ourselves to prayer, acting as salt and light in the earth, and building up the body of Christ. It is with that last one in mind that I hope to bring glory to God. I wish to build up the body through encouragement and edification. I hope to educate on certain biblical topics and I hope that any mistakes or struggles I have will be documented so as to show my fellow believers what should and especially what should not be done!

God can use even this small blog and the worthless man who writes it to accomplish great things to His glory. I pray that it will be used for that purpose. If a day comes where that goal becomes clearly unachievable, then on that day, this blog ends.
